Visa Details

As of November 22, 2025, Indian ordinary passport holders require a visa to enter or transit through Iran. Iran suspended the visa waiver facility previously available to Indians (which had allowed visa-free entry by air) following an Indian MEA advisory citing misuse of the facility (e.g., trafficking and ransom cases). Indian travelers must now obtain a visa before traveling.
