Indian passport holders can obtain a visa on arrival for Indonesia, subject to the current document and entry conditions below. The listed stay is Up to 30 days from arrival; one approved extension can bring the total to 60 days.

- Indian ordinary passport in good condition; emergency or temporary travel documents are not eligible for B1 VOA
- Passport-validity guidance differs: Indonesian Immigration requires at least 6 months at entry; CGI Bali advises more than 6 months after planned departure. Confirm before travel if you fall between these thresholds
- Return or onward ticket; use a designated VOA entry point
- Complete the All Indonesia arrival declaration; Bali visitors must also pay the tourist levy unless exempt
Step-by-Step Application Process

Choose B1 e-VOA on the official evisa.imigrasi.go.id portal before travel, or obtain VOA at a designated arrival checkpoint such as Bali Ngurah Rai or Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta

For e-VOA, upload your passport biodata page, recent colour photo and onward/return ticket, pay online and check your account/email for the issued visa

For airport VOA, pay at the designated bank counter, retain the voucher and present it with your passport to immigration

Complete All Indonesia from 3 days before arrival. If visiting Bali, pay the separate levy through Love Bali and retain its voucher

Check the permitted stay on admission; apply for any extension before it expires

- For online B1 applications: passport biodata scan and recent colour photo
- Issued e-VOA or airport VOA payment voucher, as applicable
- Completed All Indonesia declaration and, if visiting Bali, levy voucher or applicable exemption
Pro Tips
- Check the issued visa entry deadline separately from the stay granted at the border
- Keep the Bali levy voucher with your travel documents; pay through the official Love Bali service
- Plan extension arrangements before the initial stay ends; e-VOA does not remove the immigration-office appointment requirement
Important Notes
- • B1 e-VOA is single entry and must be used within 90 days of issue. This entry deadline does not give a 90-day stay
- • B1 permits tourism, family visits, meetings, conventions, exhibitions and transit. It does not permit selling goods/services or receiving pay from individuals or businesses in Indonesia
- • For extensions, the rule effective 29 May 2025 requires online submission followed by an immigration-office photograph and interview, including VOA holders
- • All Indonesia combines immigration, customs, health and quarantine declarations; nationwide use began 1 October 2025
- • The IDR 150,000 Bali levy applies to foreign tourists visiting Bali, not every Indonesia destination. Exempt categories exist; some require advance approval
