Visa Details

Ordinary Indian passport holders generally need successful, free online pre-arrival registration (PAR) for visa-free visits to Hong Kong of up to 14 days. The passport must be valid for at least six months. PAR lasts six months and allows repeated visits, each subject to immigration approval. Carry the printed, signed notification slip and the same passport used for registration. Failed PAR, visits longer than 14 days, or employment, study or residence require an appropriate visa. Direct airside transit needs no PAR; specified immigration statuses and document holders are also exempt. Visitors need sufficient funds and normally onward or return tickets, except when transiting to mainland China or Macao. PAR does not guarantee admission.
