Step-by-Step Application Process

Open the designated GovHK PAR service through the official Immigration Department page

Enter details exactly as shown in your passport; view the result on screen

If successful, print the notification on blank white A4 paper, check and sign it; a parent or guardian signs for children under 16

Carry the signed slip and the same valid passport for boarding and immigration clearance

If admitted, retain the landing slip showing your permitted stay

If PAR is unsuccessful, apply directly to Hong Kong Immigration for a visit visa; Chinese diplomatic missions do not accept Indian visit-visa applications

- • Reapply if your passport or personal particulars change; an old passport-linked PAR cannot be transferred
