As the Netherlands is part of the Schengen Area, Indian passport holders require a Schengen visa for entry. This visa must be obtained before traveling. Once granted, a Schengen visa allows access to the Netherlands and other Schengen countries. For transit: No airport transit visa required for Indians, unlike some other Schengen countries!
