Visa Details

A visa is normally required for Indian passport holders. Eligible Indians may apply for Taiwan's Travel Authorization Certificate (TAC) with a qualifying foreign visa or residence document, valid or expired within 10 years of arrival. Australian/New Zealand electronic visas must remain valid; Japanese/Korean visas need proof of prior entry to that country; residence-card holders should confirm the evidence requirement because official wording also refers to documents. Work permits and cancelled/void documents do not qualify. The TAC permits multiple entries during 90-day validity, with each stay limited to 14 days from the day after arrival and at most six TAC entries per calendar year. Passport validity, onward travel, and Taiwan work/immigration-history conditions also apply.
