Visa Details
Indian ordinary-passport holders normally need an Armenian visa and can apply for an eVisa. Medical travel insurance is mandatory: provide either an eligible valid foreign visa/residence permit, or a return reservation, Armenian invitation and proof of funds. Eligible visas or residence permits also allow an application at the border; GCC visitor visas do not qualify. Separately, from 1 July 2026 to 1 July 2027, qualifying US, EU, Schengen or GCC residence permits valid for at least six months from entry support a temporary exemption for up to 180 days within one year. That exemption requires the physical card or passport sticker with prescribed Latin-script identity details and Gregorian dates. The passport must cover the whole stay. Follow the stay granted on the visa; there is no general 90-day eVisa allowance.
