Step-by-Step Application Process

Go to the Royal Oman Police eVisa portal: evisa.rop.gov.om and create an account

Fill in personal details, passport information, and travel dates — must match passport exactly

Upload required documents: passport copy, photograph, return ticket, hotel booking, travel insurance

Pay the eVisa fee online (OMR 5 for 10-day or OMR 20 for 30-day) by credit or debit card

Receive eVisa via email within 1–3 working days

Print the eVisa or save it on your phone and present it at Oman immigration on arrival

Alternative (if you hold a valid US/UK/Canada/Schengen/Australia/Japan/GCC visa): Present your passport and qualifying visa at Oman immigration to get a 14-day Visa on Arrival stamp

- • Indian passport holders are NOT visa-free for Oman — an eVisa is required for most travelers
- • Apply for the eVisa at evisa.rop.gov.om at least 1–2 weeks before travel
- • If you hold a valid visa or residence from the US, Canada, Australia, UK, any Schengen country, Japan, or a GCC country, you can get a 14-day Visa on Arrival stamp at the airport instead
- • eVisa options: 10-day tourist visa (OMR 5) or 30-day tourist visa (OMR 20)
- • The 14-day Visa on Arrival cannot be extended or converted to a residence visa
- • Oman eVisa rejections are non-refundable — ensure all documents match your passport
