Visa Details
Indian ordinary passport holders need appropriate permission for a short stay in this Schengen destination. A valid short-stay type C visa must cover this territory; airport-transit type A permission does not allow entry. An unused entry is needed when entering or re-entering from outside Schengen, not for travel between Schengen countries during the same permitted stay. Follow the visa’s validity dates and granted days, within the shared 90-day limit in any 180 days across Schengen. Limited-territorial-validity visas cover only the states specified, and overseas territories may have separate rules. An airside connection onward outside Schengen does not require a Dutch airport transit visa for Indian nationals. Keep the passport valid at least three months beyond transit and issued within ten years; carry an onward ticket and destination visa if required. Baggage collection, a Schengen onward flight or other immigration clearance requires appropriate entry permission.
