- Ordinary Indian passport with at least 6 months remaining from arrival.
- For the eVisa arrival check, carry the printed approval, travel itinerary and hotel or sightseeing details.

Step-by-Step Application Process

Register at visa2egypt.gov.eg and confirm your account.

Sign in, choose Apply Now and read the instructions for your selected visa type.

Complete the requested form and document steps, then pay with an accepted card.
- 4
Wait for the status email. If approved, download and print the eVisa from your account.
- 5
Present the printout to immigration on arrival.
Documents Required
- For online tourism, prepare the passport and information requested in your account; carry the approved eVisa printout, itinerary and accommodation or visit details for arrival.
- Have an email address and an accepted credit or debit card for the online application.

Pro Tips
- Use your own portal account; parents may submit children’s applications through their account.
- Keep access to the registered email so you can receive the application decision.
- Carry a paper copy of the approval; a digital copy alone does not meet the portal’s printout instruction.
Important Notes
- • The online route excludes diplomatic, service, official and other special travel documents listed in the portal disclaimer; those holders should use a consulate.
- • An approved eVisa does not guarantee admission. Business or employment activities require the appropriate permission.
- • The visa-processing fee is non-refundable, and incomplete applications can be rejected.
- • Egyptian consular applications and any visa-on-arrival exception are separate routes. Confirm the conditions for your exact passport and circumstances before using either.
