Complete visa requirements for Indian passport holders
Indian tourists can use Cambodia's advance eVisa or visa-on-arrival route. This guide covers the single-entry tourist eVisa: USD 30 for a one-month stay, through designated entry checkpoints. Complete the separate free e-Arrival declaration too.

- Indian ordinary passport: the eVisa portal requires more than 6 months remaining at entry; Cambodia's Paris embassy instead says 6 months after departure. Confirm this difference before relying on a passport near expiry
- Recent digital passport photograph and passport image for the application
- Email for the approval and an accepted online payment method
- Return/onward ticket and accommodation details; keep them available for arrival checks
Step-by-Step Application Process

Check that your arrival checkpoint accepts eVisas at https://www.evisa.gov.kh/ before applying

Apply for tourist Type T online, enter passport and travel details, and provide the requested images

Pay the USD 30 tourist eVisa fee and wait for approval; 3 business days is the published processing time

Download the approved certificate from the email or the portal and carry it for immigration
- 5
Complete the separate, free Cambodia e-Arrival at https://arrival.gov.kh/ within 7 days before arrival and save its QR code

Pro Tips
- Save the eVisa certificate and e-Arrival QR code separately; the free declaration does not replace the paid visa
- Use the official portal's current checkpoint list when planning an overland route
- Ask the Immigration Department about an extension before your stay ends; the Paris embassy recommends starting about one week before expiry
Important Notes
- • Type T allows one entry within 3 months of issue and a one-month stay; it does not grant a three-month stay
- • The portal currently accepts eVisa entry at Techo (KTI), Siem Reap Angkor (SAI), Sihanoukville (KOS), Bavet and Tropaeng Kreal
- • Poipet and Cham Yeam are listed as temporarily closed for eVisa entry until further notice. Recheck the official list before a land-border journey
- • A tourist visa can be extended once for one more month through the Immigration Department, subject to approval; apply before the initial stay expires
- • India's MEA also lists visa on arrival for Indians, with accommodation and return-flight evidence; it warns that immigration may ask for at least USD 500 cash per person
- • e-Arrival is an arrival declaration, not a visa. Tourist Type T does not permit employment
